De Colores is an all volunteer organization that celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month and will be offering a series of events on UNM's campus from September 15- October 15, 2009.

Mission

The mission of the De Colores "Hispanic Culture Festival" is to showcase, promote and develop the best of Hispanic art, music, dance, literature and leadership.

Announcements

In a partnership with Albuquerque Public Schools, De Colores will be offering essay and art contests. Winners of the contests will receive scholarships, as well as recognition in next year's De Colores Event. All submissions are due on October 1, 2009.
